Recipe - Apple Pie In A Jar [Washington]

Ingredients:

4 cup Peeled and cut or sliced up apples
One fourth cup Sugar
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
2 tablespoon Butter or margarine
One half cup Sugar
One half cup (1 stick) butter or
margarine
1 Egg, beaten
One half cup Flour
One half teaspoon Baking powder
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Place cut or sliced up apples in buttered 9x9 inch baking pan or 2 qt. casserole.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture. Dot with butter.

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg and beat well. Sift together flour,
baking powder, and salt. Mix until mixture is well combined. Add vanilla
and stir in. Drop by spoonfuls over apples and bake in 350F oven for 30 to
35 minutes, or until lightly browned Serve warm or cold with ice cream, if
